At the heart of my work is this core belief: when we restore connection—to our bodies, our emotions, and the world around us—we open the door to healing, purpose, and joy.
From a young age, I felt a deep calling to make the world a better place. What began as a desire to protect animals gradually evolved into a broader understanding: everything—people, nature, community—is profoundly interconnected.
This realization came into sharp focus in 2016, during an environmental learning camp in the heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon. There, I witnessed Indigenous communities living in harmony with the land—finding fulfillment not in material wealth, but in deep connection to nature and each other. It became clear to me that many of the “dis-eases” we face in the modern world stem from a disconnection—from our environment, our communities, and ourselves. Connection, I came to believe, is the foundation of true healing and wholeness.
Guided by this insight, I’ve shaped both my education and career around the mission of helping others reconnect. I earned a B.S. in Horticultural Sciences from the University of Florida, with a focus on organic crop production, and became a certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I initially sought to help people reconnect to nature through intuitive eating and growing their own food.
Over time, I felt called to support people on a deeper emotional level. This led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Saybrook University. I’ve gained invaluable experience through work at Therapeutic Oasis and as a counseling intern at Beenen Therapy Group in Jacksonville.
My therapeutic approach is mindfulness-based, humanistic, and person-centered. I often integrate modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT Tapping), Mindful Self-Compassion, and, whenever possible, the healing power of nature.
