Why I Started The Bonded Podcast
I often encourage others to dream big—shoot for the stars—and every now and then, I take my own advice.
But the Bonded Podcast isn’t about fame, going viral, or stepping into the spotlight. It was born from something much deeper: my desire to offer hope and healing to those carrying invisible wounds—the kind that often have no words, yet shape our lives in powerful ways.
As a clinical psychologist, mindfulness teacher, and someone devoted to healing, I’ve seen how early developmental and attachment trauma can remain hidden, misdiagnosed, and untreated for decades. The ache it leaves behind is real. But so is the healing.
This podcast is my offering to those who are hurting. And also to the world—because when we heal ourselves, we stop passing down pain. We start creating peace.
Over the years, my mindfulness practice and the work I’ve done teaching MBSR and Mindful Self-Compassion have shown me the ripple effects of healing. But recently, the urgency has grown stronger. Time and resources are limited, yet the need for connection, compassion, and trauma-informed care is greater than ever.
Bonded began as a small seed—an idea I whispered among clients and friends. A dream to inspire healing, shift perspectives, and spark real change in how we see trauma, relationships, and resilience.
When my dear friend Lizzie offered to help bring this vision to life as a podcast, I felt a profound sense of support, safety, and connection. And from that place, I found the courage to use my voice and reach further than I ever imagined.
Together, we are sharing our stories, our challenges, and our passion for helping others. We’re also inviting inspiring experts, healers, and changemakers to bring their wisdom and light to the conversations. Because healing trauma and creating secure connection isn’t just personal—it’s universal.
